The lenses represent curved surfaces. A lens is a transparent refracting medium, bounded by tow surface that from a part of sphere (spherical lens) or a cylinder (cylinder or toric lens ).
Types of lenses. Thus lenses are of tow types:
1. Spherical lenses,and
2. Cylindrical (or toric or astigmatic) lenses.
